Located in Chicago's Fulton Market, Drakewell Kitchens & Closets blends craftsmanship with design intelligence. Founded by award-winning interior designer Joy Williams, the studio was born from a desire to give Chicago's design community, builders, and contractors a place to create, collaborate, and source cabinetry, decor, and millwork that lives up to their vision. Our award-winning showroom and design studio brings together American-made, German-engineered custom cabinetry, solid-brass hardware, and sculptural surfaces—all curated to inspire. Each vignette tells a story of proportion, texture, and restraint, revealing how luxury can feel both personal and effortless. More than a showroom, Drakewell is a conversation between design and maker—where creative ideas become tangible spaces, and where every project begins with good design at its core.

Together, we’ll map out a plan based on your budget, timeline, and project goals. For kitchen projects, we also provide quotes for blueprints and elevation drawings to help bring your ideas to life. There’s no charge for this initial consultation—we only move forward with costs once you’ve decided to take the next step.
